Deep6, what does our name mean?
“A nautical expression indicating a water depth of 6 fathoms (36 feet, 10.97m) as measured by a sounding line; "deep six" acquired its idiomatic definition from the fact that something thrown overboard at or greater than this depth would be difficult if not impossible to recover. Marks on a sounding line were traditionally placed at 2, 3, 5, 7, 10, 13, 15, 17, and 20 fathoms. The "leadsman" called out the depth as he read it off the line. If the depth was at a mark he would call "by the mark" followed by the number, if the depth was between two marks, he would call "by the deep" followed by the estimated number. Six fathoms would therefore be reported as "by the deep six."
- (idiomatic) idiomatic To discard, cancel, halt; to completely put an end to something.
When we decided to create Deep6 we had a vision of a new type of scuba diving brand, one that was responsive and answerable directly to the consumer. We knew this was a radical departure from the norm and to make it work we needed to rethink and reformulate every step of the process from the manufacturer to the consumer. We decided to approach our business completely focused on what the consumer needs from a scuba brand, not what a dive shop, training agency, sales rep, or instructor demands. So in effect, we were going to “Deep6” the old model. Plus it’s nautical and that is where our gear does its the stuff!
I need to replace all my bolts with these.
Stiff Enough to get good propulsion while being light enough to not cause leg fatigue.
I was skeptical. So I stuffed a paper towel into this bag, crammed the bag into a small pocket and took it to 43 feet while on a 2 hour drive. The paper towel was Absolutely dry at the end. So, I shoved an extra phone AT&T sent me, for no apparent reason, into this bag. The phone worked through this bag as it unlocked with facial recognition.
I beach dive a mile from shore with a DPV and no surface support- Solo. So, basically the Nautilus rescue beacon and my Garmin inReach mini are just there as "two is one and one is none. Not sure what three is. But now I do have three ways for coms due to this damn fine bag.
light & stiff was the reason for my choice. Precise positioning is possible with this fin. Power, the other reason for my choice, is yet to be tested against stronger currency as blades are small. To an instructor, this fin is better than quattro as you can back and helicopter kick better. Requires slightly different kicking as well compared with quattro.
Great dive boots. Cool looking kicks. Regardless of walking on loose rock and gravel gravel beaches , hot pavement, sand , walking on a boat deck they offer great protection and comfort. I like the laces over zippers because i live and dive off sand beaches and i dont have to fight sand in the zippers being stuck
I have been blessed enough to be able to dive any regulator I want.
No regulator breathes better than an Atomic!
It is just a wee bit heavier than the pure titanium but with all the features and offers greater value.
It looks good and is everything I could ever desire in a regulator.
Excellent equipment and excellent service. I highly recommend using Aqui water sports

A tiny ballpoint drop is all you need pee lense. Great product
I tried the Amazon stringers but they started rusting after 1 dive….thank goodness for returns. AQUI quality definitely superior.
Loved this mask! Was a good fit and the material is very good quality. Highly recommend vs the regular big one that cover almost ur whole face.
Quick turn around on bottle prep and even quicker on ad hoc support. Great attitudes and knowledgeable staff make for an informed transaction. Keep it up AQUI.
Big Shout Out To AQUI WATER SPORTS!! THANK YOU Aqui Water Sports for hooking it up with new Nitro Bands for my JBL SpearGun. It took Ryan and Tylor at the shop minute's to get me set up and on my way for my spearfishing season. The same afternoon I was able to go out and shoot a nice Snapper with my gun that had been sitting for 2 seasons and definitely needed some TLC from AQUI. In no time the guys had it broken down and cleaned like new. The staff at AQUI are always knowledgeable about gear, and provide excellent guidance on your specific needs. Without a second thought they are always so helpful in giving you great suggestions on where to go, and what to look for out on the reef. Hats off to AQUI Water Sports for continuing to provide only quality products. Thank you AQUI
